HIoTrack for tracking & geofencing on jet skis

Watersports structures frequently suffer from a lack of visibility on their fleets and their equipment. It is a concern for the safety of customers, the condition of the equipment and the non-compliance with certain rules (such as speed regulation). To address these issues, we had the opportunity to install our products on the Effet Mer Watersports jet skis fleet.

The installation of HIoTrack on jet skis (Yamaha) enabled :

real time tracking
the possibility to switch off the engine when the jet ski leaves a specific area and to reactivate it remotely (geofencing)
the possibility to monitor speed (especially in the channel, where it is common that customers do not respect speed limit)

Ensuring the safety of customers and extending the life of assets are crucial issues for watersports professionals. Thanks to a worldwide and two-way satellite connection, the monitoring of mobile assets on land and sea has never been so accessible. Many other applications are possible, HIoTrack can be useful in the management of rotation schedule, to have a better estimation of waiting time and to considerably improve customer experience.
